Zorvino Vineyards A Sandown NH Jewel
Today was a beautiful fall day in New England perfect for exploring and discovering new places.
Jay and I had errands to run and a new construction home to photograph today.
On the way home we drove by Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown New Hampshire.
It was perfect timing for us as I had been driving by this place for months and my curiosity finally got the better of me.
From the road all you see is
the sign and a long gravel drive. I had no clue what lay hidden from view up that driveway.
A friend of mine had attended a wedding there and simply raved about the place and I had noticed wine tasting ads and knew that they held functions up there.
I was not prepared for what greeted me.
Their website states that Zorvino Vineyards is a “small piece of Tuscany” located in Sandown NH and nestled on 80 acres of land. We know Sandown well and have listed and sold many homes in this small New Hampshire town over the years. I could not picture a Winery in Sandown.
Let me tell
you this place is perfect from it’s beautiful rustic manor house that is called “Castello Zorvino” to the gorgeous grounds with a terrace over flowing with vibrant flowers and waterfalls all looking out at their very own vineyard.
This is a true jewel and I can’t believe I didn’t stop by and visit sooner.
They say that they can accommodate up to 150 people and the “Castello Zorvino” is available to rent for weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, and private parties of any type.
Everything looked clean and inviting today when I walked through. They were closed and not expecting a visitor…which is the best time to check out a place in my opinion. I very much liked what I saw!
They really seem to be embracing the community by putting on many special
events such as their first ever Zorvino HalloWine Costume Party I love the play on words…doesn’t it sound like fun?
Check out the list of fine wines and book a wine tasting tour or make a special evening out of it…fine wine and appetizers all priced very reasonable.
Sandown New Hampshire home to a Winery? I can imagine it now. How absolutely perfect!
