Hampstead New Hampshire…Tis the Season to Share and be Thankful.

Ice skate Nothing makes living in Hampstead New Hampshire as special as being here during the holidays.

The community shines during this time of year and everyone participates and supports some very special town wide events.

December 1st The Hampstead Mothers’ Club will put on their annual Breakfast with Santa. This is a wonderful Pancake Breakfast served from 8AM – 11AM at the Hampstead Central School. Enjoy yummy pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee. Cookie decorating and craft making will also be available. Santa will be there to visit with the little ones so be sure to bring your camera and take pictures.

A new road-virgin territory and a clueless GPS

New road This morning as I drove to Windham to teach the new member ethics orientation class for the Granite State South Board of REALTORS, I was pretty excited. Was it open? I kept wondering about the new 111 bypass.

It has been a project in the works for a few years and planned for many more. Would it finally be open? It was supposed to open on Monday but it wasn’t.

When I left on Monday to go to Vermont I purposely drove that way so I could experience the new road…it wasn’t open even though the newspaper said it would be. I was bummed!

Sandown New Hampshire Hosts an Electronics Recycle Day

Got a dead computer?? Or maybe you have a few of them kicking around your attic?

They are not an easy item to get rid of just like all those old broken down T’V’ s we’ve been collecting for years.

What do you do with them?

Can’t set them out on the curb for the sanitation collectors to pick up and most of the time the local dumps won’t accept them.

I think I have 2 old computers in my attic and more than a few monitors hanging around.
The town of Sandown New Hampshire is hosting a desperately needed Electronic Recycle Day and nicer still is that they’ve opened it up to residents of the following towns Sandown, Chester, Hampstead, Danville, Atkinson, Fremont, and Plaistow.
