I stopped by today and marveled at all the lovely holiday decorations and craft items available in the store.
While I was there the place was bustling with people selecting the perfect holiday wreaths, kissing balls and decorations.
Sometimes the best thing about the house is the picture…Is that not true?
At the National Association of REALTORS convention in Vegas I attended the professional standards forum and committee meeting where among other things we talked about digital enhancements to listing photos.
I am on my second 3 year term as a State Representative serving on the committee and as a blogger I’ve been particularly interested in all the proposed changes to Article 12.
In DC this past May we talked about Blogs and including them in the scope of Article 12. I wasn’t too excited about the potential of NAR touching my blog.
All spring and summer members participated via e-mail…comments for and against making changes were carefully considered by the working group.
We didn’t know what the recommendations would be and eagerly awaited the working group’s findings. [Read more...]

I wish I was still a little kid because I absolutely love Halloween!
I love watching the little kids walk up the driveway…listening to them laugh in excitement.
I remember spending hours sorting through candy when my kids were little…sometimes sneaking my favorite pieces of candy out of their bags. LOL…sometimes I got caught doing it and my sons, Marty and Mikey would make a big deal out of mom stealing their precious candy.

Curious about where your property is in relation to the FEMA map? I’m not going to go out on a limb and say this is 100% accurate but it is pretty close. Since this is the government FEMA site…if you are listed in a flood zone you’d be better off knowing about it now. Or maybe you want to look up that home you’re thinking about buying. In any case this is a cool tool and it’s free!
