NH REALTORS have an awesome opportunity to learn from the Pros! If you’re just learning about blogging, Twitter, Facebook, SEO and YEO and you haven’t signed up for the next New Hampshire Association of REALTORS convention you should do so as soon as possible.

The speakers presenting at this convention are from all over the country and they actually use social media, they have spoken at the National Association of REALTOR conventions, franchise conventions and RE Bar Camps. Real Estate Summit in DC

Pat Buchanan and Harold ford Jay and I are attending the annual REALTOR mid year meetings in DC this week and one of the events that we participated in yesterday was a day long Real Estate Summit which was all about ” Advancing the U.S. Economy” .

The information exchanged was incredible. We heard from people like former Representative Harold Ford, Pat Buchanan, Dr. Robert Reich, Secretary of HUD Shaun Donovan and Alan Greenspan to name just a few.

The over all message was that we are entering into a recovery period but everyone was cautiously optimistic. Many talked about home pricing and reiterated the fact that it will be a good long time before we see any kind of major appreciation.

The market movement we’ve seen in Southern NH is also shared by many other states and while real estate has picked up Dr Robert Reich the word at the summit was more changes need to happen, especially within the banking industry, short sales, tax credits and housing incentives were heavily discussed.

The information we received is worth reading and REALTOR magazine has published an excellent report which I have linked below.

Monika is “In The House”- WKXL 1450-

This past Monday, Oct 6, I was interviewed live on a local Concord NH radio program called In The House on WKXL1450.

The program was on the air from 1pm to 2pm and the topic was REALTOR® ethics and how they effect the consumer. We ended up running out of time so the second interview will take place Monday Oct 13th and will be broadcast live.

Funny thing is, as a kid I always wanted to be on the radio in fact I used to play act with a brush as my microphone…Think of Tom Cruise in his underwear dancing and singing into a brush in the movie Risky Business LOL.

I was interviewed by Brenda Perkins the host of In The House and she did a great job making me feel relaxed. I felt comfortable talking Ethics and couldn’t believe how quick the hour flew by.
