I was recently honored to have been included on the Top 12 Women Real Estate Bloggers 2009 list. To say that I was surprised would be an understatement, I am still in shock over it. I am extremely lucky to have met most of the other woman who have made this years list and feel incredibly honored to be amongst them. It’s an honor I will treasure forever.
This is the 4th annual Sellsius list and Joseph Ferrara from Sellsius decribes this years list on his site this way:

Prudential Verani Realty’s web statistics for February ‘09 vs. ‘08 & ‘07

We have updated our February Web Stats comparing 2009-2008-2007. As we can see Total Sessions are down over the last three years along with total page views but page views per visit are up from last year. Absolute unique visitors are down as with e-leads but showings on our listings are up from this same time frame from last year.
Overall it is important to know that this is a great time to buy as prices are down and interest rates are still very low. Why wait? I wouldn’t as investors are out buying and that is a good sign. Usually this is a sign that we may have hit bottom.

On the Radio…In The House- WKXL 1450

Today was my fourth radio appearance on Brenda Perkins In The House radio show on WKXL 1450.
I am starting to feel somewhat like a pro <gg> well not really a pro but I am feeling pretty relaxed about doing it.
In fact I think it’s fun!
This month we talked about fatal seller mistakes and the hour was over before I knew it!
Last month we talked about fatal buyer mistakes and the month before about REALTOR ethics… always a hot topic.

Monika is “In The House”- WKXL 1450-

This past Monday, Oct 6, I was interviewed live on a local Concord NH radio program called In The House on WKXL1450.
The program was on the air from 1pm to 2pm and the topic was REALTOR® ethics and how they effect the consumer. We ended up running out of time so the second interview will take place Monday Oct 13th and will be broadcast live.
Funny thing is, as a kid I always wanted to be on the radio in fact I used to play act with a brush as my microphone…Think of Tom Cruise in his underwear dancing and singing into a brush in the movie Risky Business LOL.
I was interviewed by Brenda Perkins the host of In The House and she did a great job making me feel relaxed. I felt comfortable talking Ethics and couldn’t believe how quick the hour flew by. Jay and I are pretty excited about the fact that Prudential Verani Realty recognizes the power of the Internet. While the company is not totally into web 2.0 yet it is taking some big steps in that direction. They’ve announced some cool changes that will make our job much easier…I’m lovin these changes.
One of the most important changes taking place is regarding the distribution of our listings to various real estate websites. One of the latest surveys indicates that a whooping 88% ( I really think higher) of potential home-buyers start their search on the web. Read more
