NH Holiday Christmas Parades 2009

I can’t believe the year is almost over but the one thing I always look forward to at the end of the year is the Christmas parades and holiday events that our local towns hold. I love the holiday music, the decorations and all the happy smiling children running around. Often times I wish I was a little girl again but even as old as I am I can still feel the holiday magic!

The count down begins for the annual Hampstead NH Fireman’s Christmas parade being held on Dec 14. This year the theme is Christmas in Candy Land and it will be long time Chief Chip Hastings last parade since he is retiring in January.

So mark your calendar and enjoy.

This slide show is from last years parade.

Hampstead NH Christmas Parade…Oh so wonderful

It was cold outside and you could feel snow in the air but the Hampstead NH Christmas Parade went off without a hitch.  The streets were full of  people,  sounds of laughter and excitement were all around me and everyone wanted the same thing. They wanted to see Santa Clause…even I got caught up in the excitement. I put together a little virtual tour of the parade for your enjoyment. I have no idea who little “Miss Christmas” is but she was oh so precious.
