Chester NH~ A drive through the center of town
A Virtual ride through Chester New Hampshire… at the center of town.
Chester is a pretty little New England village with a population of about 4,723 people. Pretty little country back roads and pride of ownership is reflected every where you go in Chester. If you look closely during the beginning of the video you can actually see the full moon.

Sun Setting Across Lake Massabesic

Today I had to attend a REALTOR Legal committee meeting up at the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS in Concord. It started at 1 pm and was due to end at 3 pm.
As luck would have it, the meeting ran over schedule and by the time I left it was 3:45.
I decided to drive home the back way in an attempt to avoid the traffic congestion in Windham.
It would take a few minutes longer but I wouldn’t have to sit in traffic.
The drive along Lake Massabesic in Auburn and down to Chester is usually a pretty ride.
Today it was
exceptional and due to the meeting running longer it put me right at the lake while the sun was setting.
After all these years living in NH and driving back and forth to Concord I had never witnessed a sunset along Lake Massabesic.
Today I did and it was so pretty that I had to stop and take some pictures and shot a little video of the sun setting across Lake Massabesic.
I hope you enjoy seeing this little piece of my New Hampshire back yard…hopefully it will help you understand why I love selling real estate in New Hampshire.

I stopped by today and marveled at all the lovely holiday decorations and craft items available in the store.
While I was there the place was bustling with people selecting the perfect holiday wreaths, kissing balls and decorations.

Chester New Hampshire according to Wikipedia:
Incorporated in 1722, Chester once included Candia, set off in 1763. First called “the chestnut country,” it may have been the first of the settlement grants by Massachusetts selected for expansion of growing populations in the seacoast. The name may be derived from Cheshire, Chester being the county seat of Cheshire in England. Earl of Chester is a title held by the Prince of Wales. Daniel Chester French, sculptor of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., was a summer resident and took Chester as his middle name because of his love for the town.
