As I was driving home today I decided to stop in Auburn NH and shoot a little video. It’s been awhile since I used the video camera and I was a little shaky but decided to post it anyway.

Jay and I love taking pictures of New Hampshire and while we’re both amateurs we’re not shy about sharing our images.
I took this picture while driving through Auburn NH on May 5 2009, the day was dark and dreary with rain falling slightly. We spotted a Blue Heron and stopped to try and capture his image. After we started to drive off I noticed another one sitting on the shore of Lake Massabesic.
While I couldn’t get a nice close up shot of the Blue Heron, I did capture this image and for some reason I really like the whole look, the bird , the shore and the rain.
It wasn’t a perfect weather day in New Hampshire but it was a perfect day in many other ways.

While driving along road in Auburn NH we stumbled upon this majestic Blue Heron. The day was cloudy with rain falling softly but there sat a Blue Heron, I think he was just waiting for us to come along and take his picture.
He was gorgeous! Living in New Hampshire is special and this was just one of those special New Hampshire moments.
