Hampstead Village Station partially open

I’ve been watching the construction of this new complex and finally it seems to be taking shape with some tenants open and others ready to open. On Sunday July 19, I drove through and checked out some of the shops. Open for business was a pizza and ice cream shop called Tuscany Oven Pizza and Ice cream and the new State Liquor store. The liquor store actually seemed pretty busy, lol not a surprise I guess.

Opening soon is a day spa called Interlude, a Chinese Restaurant,  sandwich shop called Ken’s Deli, Lobster Tail Restaurant and Fish Market and of course a Mini Mart called Extra Mart which comes complete with a Honey Dew Donuts shop and gas pumps.

Welcome to Hampstead… boy are we growing!

I was a bit surprised about all the food type shops but I sure hope they all do a booming business. It will be nice to have some variety in Hampstead and very sweet to not have to fight the traffic on Rte 125 in Plaistow to get to a liquor store or restaurants.

Yuck! The Tuscan pizza place is junk. I have never tasted a sweeter sauce in my life. They could have sold the sauce frozen as an ice-cream for dessert. That place will be out of business as soon as the first round of people give it a try and then never come back.

I was surprised that we got another Pizza place in Hampstead. I have always preferred Greek Pizza but I guess to each his own.
Thanks for stopping by our Blog.
