The whole town enjoyed the Hampstead New Hampshire Christmas Parade 2009

The weather held out as the town folks gathered to watch the parade!

It was very cold and shortly after the parade started, snow flurries joined us. Which was rather fitting as who doesn’t want a white Christmas.

Ice Storm 2008 interrupts a celebration

While watching the parade I couldn’t help but reflect on last years parade. It was held during the infamous Ice Storm 2008 and while the parade was a welcome respite many people stayed home or found someplace warmer to visit.
