My Reality

We just got home from nearly two weeks away…we needed to get away and recharge our batteries! We drove to Canada in the RV and explored the Bay of Fundy area. It was simply awesome. We walked the ocean floor and celebrated the wonder of mother nature. This has been a dream of Jay’s since he was a little boy. Check out his post about the experience here >>>Hopewell Rocks and Jay McGillicuddy.
We had a blast in Canada and then went to Bar Harbor Maine for our annual summer vacation. This is our 5th year in a row camping in Bar Harbor. We stay at the Bar Harbor KOA and our site is on the shore of Western Bay. There is nothing like Maine lobster…cooked outdoors and enjoyed with a glass of wine.
We saw some awesome sunsets right from our campsite.
We enjoyed the company of our good friends and camping buddies, Bill and Nada Marth (who also went to Canada with us) and Mike and Judy Tuscano, fellow REALTORS as well as friends. Mike and Judy’s daughter Tina and her family also came up for a few days in their new Pop-Up camper.
Not all was just fun and games as we negotiated an offer on one of our listings and searched available properties for clients. Thank goodness for WiFi and our laptops!
Even while in an other country we were able to stay connected with our customers and clients and of course family.
Now its back to reality…I’m showing houses tomorrow and have encountered multiple offers on homes that I’ve tried to set up to show. As the prices decrease the serious buyers out there are making offers. It’s a good thing as there are some incredible buys out there.

We booked our stay at the campground for 2008 before we left. It is the only way we can be guaranteed our favorite spot and since it really is the best spot in the entire campground we don’t dare risk losing it.
Hi Monika, I would have to read when you are displaying those scrumptious lobsters I can’t have! Yum! I love how you describe a wonderful vacation with a few work tidbits thrown in. What a great job we have, we can do both! I am so glad the two of you had such a great time, you two are some of the best people around! And of course I love Bar Harbor!

Hi there Cool Dude Nick! So nice to see you over here.
LOL I did get a pretty good tan but not really as red as my lobster. Those Lobsters are pretty different than what you call Lobster down in Florida! Thanks for stopping by Nick.
