Jay and I went to the beach yesterday to take a peek at the Sand Sculptures. They were not yet finished but even so it was just amazing to see the talent! I loved the Tim Russet Tribute!
I hope you enjoy the show we put together but if you get a chance to get to the beach, do it… they are so much better in person!
Enjoy!
When Jay and I left this morning the sun was shining and it was just gorgeous out. We headed to the beach to check out the sand sculptures on our way to Portsmouth to have lunch with fellow Blogger Ann Cummings and her family. The weather often changes on a dime and today it would not disappoint. While driving up the coast a thick fog bank came in and covered everything. Then we saw a huge Swan by the side of the road…it was magical. I had to film it, the Swan, the fog, a swamp, lily pads and ducks.
The 8th annual Hampton Beach Sand Sculpting Competition is in full swing. It started on Monday and will run till Saturday when the winner is selected. Head over on Saturday and vote for your favorite and then enjoy the awards ceremony at 8pm at the Sea Shell followed by special fireworks. Just like last year the event will be lighted nightly for viewing through the 26th. Enjoy some of my photos of last years competition.
