I wrote this quite a long time ago and our take a tour show below won first place on the Active Rain Real Estate Social network we belong to. So, if you are looking for a great place to get a way to this summer… this is where you need to go.
Boothbay Harbor Maine has long been considered the ideal Maine vacation destination. The peninsula is rich in history, an artist delight, and has a robust year-round community. Boothbay Harbors location just under 3 hours from the border of New Hampshire makes it a hop skip and jump away for a quick weekend get away.
There’s much to see and do in Boothbay, shopping, golfing, boating, enjoying fresh lobsters and steamers to name a few. Boothbay is a quaint village with streets lined with boutiques, old buildings and a picture perfect harbor filled with lobster boats, pleasure crafts of all types, and windjammers.
Rocky shores, island lighthouses, peaceful coves and warm and friendly people who call this home…all welcome you for a visit. We love Boothbay and probably visit twice a year. Years worth of visits have given us a true appreciation of the delights that Boothbay offers…we hope you enjoy our visual tour and the many extra photos we’ve included.

I love Boothbay Harbor and can’t wait to get back there in July.

You would love it Chris, especially Ocean Point which is a great place to run along the shore.

I have not been to booth bay but it looks nice. Bar harbor was always a favorite place of mine. There is such beautiful scenery in Maine. Used to live in Boston but Don’t like the cold any more.

I’m not into the cold anymore but love the coast of Maine. It will be awhile before I can relocate to a warmer area.
Thanks for stopping by.
