Salem NH real estate market absorption rate. The chart below is from Sept 2007 to Oct 2008 and reflects the entire inventory of homes in all price ranges currently on the market in Salem. There is currently a 21.3 month supply on the market… I know that sounds very scary but If you narrow it down to a specific price range of $250-$300 there is only a 12 month supply. That means if you have a home in that price range you can expect it to take about a year to sell (ouch). Please don’t shoot the messenger…
