$8,000 tax credit ~ the clock is ticking

Most people think they have plenty of time or that the tax credit will be extended again. But it’s highly unlikely that it will and the clock is rapidly ticking!

April 30 2009 is the deadline to be in contract

You need to be in contract by the end of April and that is a very short two months away!  If you’re looking to buy a home and want to take advantage of the tax credit call me!

There is no question that both the 1st time buyers tax credit and move up tax credit have been a big help to Real Estate markets in the Northeast. I am sure you are seeing quite a few buyers in the market that may not have been otherwise.

Yes we are. The credit has sure helped but many buyers have told me while it’s an added benefit they were not buying simply because of it. What are you seeing in your market?

I have seen such a rise in the lower end of the market because of the credit. I am fearful that one the credit is done we will have a lull in our markets again. It would be nice to see the credit extended a little longer.

This is definitely THE time to buy…I don’t know if we’ll EVER see the Gov’t paying buyers to purchase a home again!
