Prudential Verani Hampstead takes the lead

I’m pretty excited about the fact that my office manager Carol Souter was recently installed as President of the Granite State South Board of REALTORS. While I understand 100% the time commitment involved in being president, I also know first hand the benefits that come with that position. Not only benefits to the agents in my company but benefits to our clients and customers as well. The cool thing is that Carol will be in the loop as far as changes and innovated marketing trends develop next year. Make no mistake about it, this market will continue to bring us changes. Her exposure on a national level is a very good thing and while New Hampshire has always been a front runner…to have our manager be in a position to know first hand is pretty exciting.

I think 2008 will be a good year. We’re already seeing an improvement in the market but I do think we’ll continue to see a decrease in agents as many will leave the business for greener pastures. Also I think we’ll see more mega offices close as the market adjusts and normalizes but Prudential Verani will still be there.

I remember well, the last market adjustment 1989-1996…many agents packed it in. A good thing really for those of us left standing in the end. We learned the hard way how to service clients and customers…selling a home back then required more than putting a sign in the ground. I’ve always said that I’m a better agent for having lived through it.

Carol will lead our board of REALTORS during trying times for many but what better person than someone who has been through it before.

Congratulations Carol!

Very cool. And from your lips to the gods’ ears about 2008! I think so too btw. I’m trying to decide if Im going to join the local board or pick a neighboring one. The neighboring one is located where some train projects are being proposed :-)
