Laurie,
You are so right...too many sellers hire the wrong agent!
It should be easy in this market to set up an appointment to show a house...easy not hard! I don' get what these agents are thinking...how in the world do they think that they are even remotely representing their clients best interest!

Thinking about you and this post this morning as I sit here calling an agent who didn't return my call last night.

I have a client in from out of town wanting to see only 2 properties. This one is by appointment only. The agent doesn't have a lockbox on the property because she "ran out" of them. The home has been on the market for over a month, go buy another one already!

I spoke with her last night, she didn't return my call last night. I have called 4 times this morning, including calls to her office. She hasn't been able to reach the sellers so "they" can show the property. There are keys in her office to the property.

I asked if somebody from her office can meet us at the property with the keys. Her response? Gee I don't know, let me call you back!

Another seller who hired the wrong agent!

It is difficult enough to sell homes in today's market, if your homes aren't available to be shown you are the next casualty!

Linda,
Very rude and really there is no excuse for that type of behavior!
How are you? Jay and I are on vacation...enjoying the sun.

Laurie,
I feel bad for their clients as I know that the sellers have no clue how hard their agent is to deal with.
Makes us all look bad!

Monika, I will never understand why so many agents don't return calls promptly. In this market buyers just move on. I often wonder how much damage they have done to their clients.
