New Hampshire Real Estate Blog

I arrived at the NAR convention in Vegas yesterday and after a very long travel day I went to the trade show and it was mobbed.

I heard that there were over 30,000 REALTORS signed up attend this convention…of course that number could be higher as some people just stop by and buy a day pass.

It was crazy at the trade show and I’m heading back there this morning to check out a few things out.

I also stopped by the NAR Bloggers lounge and was very disappointed…only a few people there mostly from NAR. Maybe today they’ll be more bloggers there!

Afterwards I went to the New Hampshire welcome reception and chatted with REALTORS from all over NH. We had a great turnout. I drank some wine and just enjoyed the evening.

On our way back to the Venetian Resort we went through the Canal Street Mall…Oh my!!!

What an experience and if you’ve been to Vegas and have never gone to this Mall. YOU MUST GO! I kid you not and I’m not a mall rat!

I marveled at how light the sky looked in this open mall and how pretty everything was…especially the canal! I thought I was transported to Vienna!
How cool I thought! Never mind the stores…those were awesome as well but the whole mall just blew me away!

We don’t have malls like this in NH. TLW…would have loved this mall…Broker Bryant maybe not so much!

I didn’t know the sky was really painted…and the mall was really inside until somebody pointed it out to me!

What a trip!

Later today is the NAR professional standards meeting.

I’ll probably bring my lap top so I can post about the meeting right afterwards.

My committee agenda looks pretty good and I really think that depending on what is added from the floor, that the changes to article 12 will be pretty mild in comparison to what people are expecting.

Of course I could be wrong...but based on the agenda, I’m feeling okay about it.
Remember whatever comes out of committee today will still have to be voted on and approved by the Board of Directors.

Looks like it will be a full day for me and of course the big Active Rain party will be tonight!
