Pending Home Sales Down
Pending sales are up 66.7% over a month ago and it is also up 66.7 % over a year ago and up 80% over the last 3 months compared to the same three months a year ago. That would be May, June, and July. This tells us we are entering the fall market pretty strong.
Home Sales Up
Homes sales are up 60% from a year ago, There were 5 homes sold in July of 2013 and 8 sold in July of 2014. Sales were the same from July of this year compared to June of 2014. Sales were up 40% from May to July of 2013 compared to May to July of this year.
The average active sales price in Chester for July is $376,000 and the average sold price was $315,000. Average days on market in July was 83 days compared to 75 in June, and 33 in May. The average dollar per square foot price was $114.00 in July. $99.00 in June and $91 in May.
All in all the Chester real estate market seems to be strong and inventory is up.
