Hampstead New Hampshire’s Bean Towne Coffee House and Cafe

As REALTORS we’re often asked where is the best place to eat, to meet locals, to hang out…. stuff like that. So we thought we would start a series on local businesses that we enjoy visiting. While we live and work in the town of Hampstead our market area is spread wide from anywhere in Southeast Rockingham County and the Seacoast area so it would be impossible for us to cover every business and that is really not our goal. Our goal is to introduce you to the places we like to visit and hopefully you will like them too.

Our first local business is Bean Towne Coffee House and Cafe, we’ve talked about Bean Towne in the past and really enjoy the cafe and the people working there and are sure you will to.

Hampstead NH Christmas Parade

This years theme was Christmas Around the World and thankfully the weather held out for us. You may remember that last year’s parade had to be cancelled due to bad weather.

Below you will find a chart of Comparable Properties Summary Analysis for October and November.

Looks like inventory is down for this time of year with only 34 residential active listings.

There have been 9 sold listings in October and November.

We have 2 pending and 2 active contingent listings during this time frame.

Comparing this to the same time frame last year the actives are down 28%. The fewer the homes on the market the better it is for sellers. As inventories increase and more competition comes on the market then it is better for buyers.

Pending sales are way off compared to last year which means sold homes will be off as well in the near future.

Kingston State Park

This is a cool state park that is located in the town of Kingston, there is a boat launch, picnic areas and a beach to swim in. The state park is 44 acres in size and includes fireplaces , a playground, softball field, and game areas.

The town of Kingston also maintains a rec area for residents. The video below was taken on a sunny mild November afternoon and as you can see people were out on the lake enjoying themselves. Jay and I love riding our bikes around Kingston and of course we always stop to enjoy the water.
