    Moni

Would you consider being a guest writer once a month on the NEW REEA blog?

    Amy

    Hello Moni:

I check out your blog daily to see what good stuff you’re putting out. I’ve also given your blog url to other agents in my area, so they can visit and see what a good & informative site you have. I enjoy visiting, reading what you have to say and being in your area of the world!

Thanks for all the good information.

Also, I hope that you are still considering writing some good, informative safety tips for realtors for my blog. I know you’ve been in the business a long time and I know you have some good stuff that I can use with my blog, http://www.realtorsafety911.com . I have newbie and seasoned agents who need and want information from a good, seasoned agent.

Thanks for considering sharing your safety tips on my blog.

    Beth

    Hi Beth,
Thanks so much. I will be happy to write a safety article for you. Thank you so much for the compliments.

Hi Monika: My business site is currently under construction, but my blogging site is http://www.selfdefensewithanattitude.com where I blog about self-defense/personal security and safety for women of ages (and men). Gave a Safety Awareness Seminar to a group of Century 21 women last week - good turnout/losts of good info. Love your site. Also have another site http://www.homesecurity911.com as I spent 20 years as a security consultant for ADT Security.

  • 8 moni // Mar 23, 2008 at 6:24 pm

    Hi Cheryl,
Your site sounds awesome. I’ll head on over to check it out. Safety is such an important issue. Did you hear about that REALTOR from Wisconsin that just got murdered while on a showing? How very sad.

    Hi, Jay,

Tried to logon, but unable to do so. Perhaps my password was wrong. Looks interesting. Want to read it all!
    Best regards, Linda

Thanks for your thoughts on Broker’s Open. I like them just to check the inventory and see what is out there. I like having them so others can see my listing.

I would not recommend spending anything at all on the Broker’s Open. I would even go as far as to have it on lockbox if I had other things to do, but I would certainly post it on the MLS schedule.

We used to have some great free lunches around here but they are few and far between now. Besides, what busy Realtor has time for lunch?

  • 14 Monika McGillicuddy // Jul 16, 2008 at 9:03 pm

I wish I had less time for lunch so I could lose a few pounds…LOL.
    Thanks for stopping by Spencer.

  • 15 Abbie // Aug 18, 2008 at 10:29 am

I am upset about the posting you and Jay wrote for the Union Leader in regards to Sean Powers. Least you forgot what happened to the Offord baby?????

  • 16 moni // Aug 18, 2008 at 5:25 pm

    Abbie,

We certainly remember the Offord baby and so did Jay’s grandmother every day of the rest of her life. It was tragic and something none of us understood or ever wanted to happen. Jay’s grandmother was haunted by it.

Nothing will bring back Sean but hopefully someday we can prevent drunk drivers from getting behind the wheel.
I’m not sure what you found so bad about the comment Jay made…maybe other than “Why do the good die young” … The Offord baby should never have died. That was tragic… as is this.

I’m sorry to have offended you.

    Monika

Hello Moni: its been a little while since I’ve been by, you still keep providing a lot of great stuff on your blog. I am trying to get together some agents to write a short article about how they stay safe while conducting their real estate business. I know you and I have talked about it a time or two. Would you have a minute to jot down a quick tip or two on how you stay safe in the field? and what you recommend to others? I would truly appreciate it. Just trying to keep the good stuff out there and I know you have so much to share.

    I appreciate your consideration.

    Monica
What a great time we had at your class in Rutland.
Very informative and the time went fast especially for an all day class. The material was covered and you didn’t loose the interest of the class. Again thank you.

Great blog! I wonder if either of you (or both) would want to write for Examiner.com?

We are looking for Manchester-area real estate Examiners.

Want to provide useful information about real estate and homes and earn income as a freelance writer? Examiner.com wants to talk to you!

Examiner.com is becoming the online destination for local information, news and events in major cities across the country. Our unique content is contributed by Examiners. These everyday people from a variety of backgrounds and professions are credible resources — “go to” experts– for local information, news, and events.

Examiners are independent contractors who choose what, when and where to write. They publish a minimum of four, brief articles per week. Examiners are paid based on a set minimum rate, or “floor,” per 1,000 page views, this floor can fluctuate based on advertising and marketing gains. Examiner.com provides the training and tools needed to publish and promote articles.

If the idea of becoming an Examiner excites you, please set aside 20 minutes and go to

    http://www.examiner.com/assets/joinexaminer.html?cid=recruiting-realestate-manchester-ljv

Tell us how you as an Examiner can add value to your community.

Have other interests or know someone else that would make an excellent Examiner? We’re also recruiting for the following subjects:

    1. Arts and Entertainment 2. Autos 3. Bars and Clubs 4. Business 5. Community 6. Education 7. Family 8. Fitness 9. Food and Drink 10. Games 11. Health 12. Home and Living 13. Jobs 14. News 15.
