New Hampshire Bargains… Buying a foreclosure?

I’ve been thinking lately about all the foreclosed properties on the market in New Hampshire. Last week I showed 4 of them, 3 in Hampstead, NH alone.
I have buyers who are looking specifically at foreclosed homes. They understand that there are some great buys out there and they also understand the risks. Buying a house without any disclosures is nerve wracking and many times the former home owner ended up neglecting the home. Sometimes that neglect is obvious, other times it’s not. Often times the vacant property will be broken into, used as a party house and just plain trashed. One house in Hampstead that we showed even had the sink torn out, parts of the heating system removed, lighting fixtures just pulled from the ceilings with no thought given to the damage incurred. I’m pretty excited about the fact that my office manager Carol Souter was recently installed as President of the Granite State South Board of REALTORS. While I understand 100% the time commitment involved in being president, I also know first hand the benefits that come with that position. Not only benefits to the agents in my company but benefits to our clients and customers as well. Something funky is happening in the Southern NH real estate market

First off let me remind you I’ve been in real estate sales full time since 1984…that’s 23 Decembers. So when I say I feel something funky happening I know what I’m talking about. This has been a very busy December and I’m not talking Christmas shopping and holiday preparations busy…I’m talking real estate busy. We decided to take a ride this afternoon so that I could take some pictures with my new camera. Christmas In New Hampshire is very old fashioned and I just love looking at how folks decorate their homes and doorways. Plus, Jay gave me my gift early, a new little camera and I had fun playing with it….I hope you enjoy my little Christmas Eve show.

Hampstead NH Bean Towne Visited by Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani spent the afternoon visiting Hampstead NH.

We got an e-mail newsletter from the owner of Bean Towne a cool coffee shop in Hampstead saying that Rudy was planning a visit to the Bean.

I guess Rudy must have read our Blog about A New Bean in Town and wanted to taste some for himself…only kidding! Read more
